Design a logotype and visual language for a new Kombucha brand
IDEA
Kombucha has been on everyones lips these latest years as the natural feel-good remedy everyones growing at home. Its a bacterial culture that develops during fermentation. The name Yggdrasil is the name of the ancient tree of life. Known to bring good fortune and being the essence of life.
We wanted to hand sketch the logotype and emerge a typography that felt ancient. Taking inspiration from runic typo mixed with a Sans-Serif style. Since the flavors are very unique we wanted to play with a dusty color palette to again create a feel as if the brand already stood on the shelf. But the dusty ones down in your grandpas cellar.
